I updated it, installed Ccleaner and uninstalled
the sophos firewall

This is due to the fact that some systems have
Sophos configured to authenticate to
\\potter\interchk\esxp with the MASH\outhouse
account instead of the MASH\sophie account.  When
the outhouse password was changed when Clayton was
dismissed, some sophos clients stopped working. 
The sophos update service likely needs
uninstalled, and the newest Sophos package from
T:\sophos needs installed, and configured for
primary server to be potter with the mash\sophie
account, and the secondary server to be the Sophos
server with the login/password in the serial.txt
in the sophos directory.
