I returned it back to them. The new key stays on
and it works fine.

Wehner got another keyboard to replace the key
since it was broken. He is replacing the key now.

returned the laptop and told them about the key
andhow it can still fall off if moved the wrong
way and that it was out of warranty.

I got the laptop and brought it back. The right
side plastic pin that holds the key into place is
broken on that side. so it will sit in place but
can fall back out if the key is moved towards the
mousepad.

This laptop fell out of warranty 7/25/2008 and
replacing those individual keys is a pain.

still has the laptop and the J key.

One the laptops that is loaned out from the 
refernce desk the J key had popped out.
