Eric,

We have 10 servers in our terminal server cluster:

TS1, TS11, TS12 and TS13 are all 8 dual-core CPUs
with 32GB RAM (TS9 is 8 quad-core CPUs with 64GB RAM).

The server you get the ! SPSS doesn;t work on this
server ! is TS9.  I have an open support request
with SPSS on it for more than a week now.

I have their developers involved because there is
something about the hardware in this machine that
SPSS doesn't like and therefore it won't run.

If you are using Remote Desktop to connect to
TS.WOU.EDU, you can instead connect to one of the
other machines (plus we have TS5, TS6, TS7, TS8,
and TS10, which are 4 cpu machines with less RAM)
or log out and log in again.  The load balancer
uses a least-connection algorithm predictor to
allocate clients that connect to TS.WOU.EDU.

I suggest trying a direct connection to one of the
other 8 cpu servers, like ts1.wou.edu or
ts12.wou.edu, etc. until I get SPSS working on TS9.

The funny thing is that TS13 and now TS11 are
built from a clone of the drive in TS9, and SPSS
works on those servers.
