Sorry for not getting it fixed in time. I didnt
work the last couple of days. I will try to do it
through email. when you log on to your computer
right click on "my Computer" then properties.
Then go to the hardware tab then device manager.
Go down to the network adapters and open up its
list, right click on the wireless one and click
enable to make sure its activated. Once that is
done you just have to connect to a near by network.

Lance,
The problem seems to be the wireless net work is
not accessible. We can occasionally get the
screen which show available wireless networks that
are available, but is only visible for about a
second and a pop-up says wireless disabled. As I
recall you all did something when I got the AT&T
card to disable the wireless network card to save
on the battery. Bottom line, we are not able to
log onto any wireless networks. We have one in
our home and it shows when we get the correct
screen, but as I mentioned, the screen disappears
in a second or less and the above described pop up
occurs. Feel free to call me on my cell at
anytime if you need more information.

Hi this is Lance from the University Computing
Services,
I have a task for you about you needing to be
able to access wireless on the road without a AT&T
card. This laptop should have a built in wireless
card, so are you having troubles with it or do
you just want us to double check to make sure? Any
information to help give us a better understanding
what you need done will help.

Thank you,
