She tried to connect a dual monitor system and it 
appears to be backwards. She was hoping somone 
would come by and help her.

She setup Thunderbird herself and used POP3. I am
going to reinstall Thunderbird for her.

We can stop by next week to check it out. We need
to check her trash to make sure it did not get
deleted and is just sitting in her trash. She says
it is not there, but is not sure when they all
were deleted.

Called her and got some more information. She was
using outlook for the longest time and less than a
month ago she switched to thunderbird that is when
she noticed in outlook that emails between (march-
sept) was gone. She said sometime in the last
couple of days that her inbox has been completely
emptied on the web based one. She would like to
have as much of it back since she has contracts in
there she still uses.

she frequently used thunderbird email and the 
sunjava to save old emails but just today when 
she tried her email everything before oct 28 2008 
where disappeared

Hi,
This is Lance from the University Computing
Services and you sent a task in about all of your
emails before oct 28 being erased. I have a few
questions to help me understand the issue better.
Are you using the web based email or is it
outlook, thunderbird that the emails were erased?
Another thing to check is your email filters to
see if that might have removed them. Have you
created or changed your mailing filters?
Were these emails in the "inbox" folder or did you
have a separate  folder that you were storing them
in? Any information about the issue would be helpful.
