I reopened the other task #29112 so we can see
what has been done and it has more information
about the problem. Going to close this task.

I installed the system updates for 10.4 and the user profiles still 
aren't staying intact.  When Safari is opened, the homepage is 
apple.com and not wou.edu like it should be.  This is a 
continuation of an earlier ticket that I closed today in hopes that 
I had fixed the problem.
