Printer is back working the way she is use to.
The reason it is taking a long time for it to
duplex is that it is a inkjet and it has to let
the ink dry before it sucks the paper back in to
print the other side.

****This is an email****

You shouldn't have to do it all the time, it
probably just lost its settings, it happens.

If it continues, we'll reinstall the printer
driver or update it and see if that takes care of it.

That worked, but I never had to do it that way
before. I used to just select Properties from my
Print menu and select the double-siding in
Finishing. Do I now have to always do it thru
Control Panel? Why would it have changed
overnight? Seems like a lot of extra steps that I
didn't need to do previously.

It is a deskjet non-networked printer.

Sent her this email:

Go to start, settings, control panel, and select
Printers and Faxes.

Double-click the icon for your deskjet, then from
the printer menu, select properties.

Down at the bottom, next to Print Test Page
button, there is a printing preferences.

Click that button, and there should be a Finishing
tab, with the Document Options to "print on both
sides".

Let me know if that fixes it.
