Thanks Audrey. Adam took a look at my computer
Friday and made some adjustments.

He said it needs to come in for a good going over,
but for now I"m operational.

Thanks,
Niki

Hi Niki,

I need some more information about the data you
are missing from your "D:" drive. Letters assigned
to drives are actually for convenience and have no
bearing on the functionality or nature of the
drive. The server does map some server drives to
specific drive letters to make them easier to
reference. The H: drive for example is actually
your "mydocuments folder on cougar" and could be
remapped to nearly any drive letter. Letters
closer to the beginning of the alphabet are
generally used for hardware like a CD or DVD
drive. Therefore, asking about your D:, especially
when you have multiple is vague. Was the D: drive
that is missing a server drive or a local/hardware
drive? Do you remember the name of the drive or
any words in the name?

Thank you for helping us troubleshoot this issue,

She has two different D: drives. SHe can access
her old one but cannot access her no one, which
is where she keeps all of her current work. She
said this was urgent as she needs to have access
to files on this drive soon.
