WinEdt. Set up Math as local administrator account
on laptop. Delivered Laptop.

I've checked out the first of these laptops. It
was running SP2 so I got it fully updated w/
Microsoft updates but the battery will probably
need to be replaced. It only lasted 30 minuets on
a full charge.

Scott Beaver has one of the laptops at home right
now but the other one does have a wireless
adapter. We've got the other department laptop so
we can updated it and test the battery.

Sharyne,

We'll get to the laptops as soon as we can, we
have some much higher-priority items that have
demanded our attention.

The battery issue is likely that the power
settings are on default for battery power, which
means it goes into standby or hibernate in about
20 minutes.

Please check our department laptops, wou # 
20030387[Edit Inv], and 20031358[Edit Inv] for...

1) Wireless capability -  Please advise as to 
whether either laptop has a working wireless card

2)  Battery -Please check batteries, we have had 
situations where the screen tells us that there 
is 2 hours plus battery life and laptop dies 
within a matter of minutes.
