Jon:
Tricia will be ordering a wireless network card 
for the station 
in NPE that does not have a wired connection.  I 
am going 
on the assumption this is how you would like to 
proceed, rather 
than spend the $560 on running wire.  The network 
charge 
will be $17/month.  Some things to think about 
with 
wireless:  
   1.  less reliable than wired
   2.  slower that wired.  (think video streaming)

Jon Carey responded back, yes, we want to proceed 
with the wireless card.  

I emailed Bill K to get policy decision regarding 
adding a wireless card into a desktop and if that 
was acceptable.  They do not want to pay the $560 
to add a second jack.

This machine is waiting permission for a wireless
adapter.

This will be in tech inbox #12 This user does not
have her own station at the moment he shares with
Head Softball Coach Pam Knox who also resides in
NPE211. I have mentioned to Konnie Sayer(8-8909)
in the Athletics Office that this station will
need to be setup with a nwtwqork port in NPE215.
She said she would look into that.
