Replaced the entire DVD drive.  Worked fine
afterwards.  Tested with "Killer Clowns from
Outerspace: The Movie"

I tried fixing it the last time I was over there,
by installing both K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, and
PowerDVD, but it still wont play DVDs.  He may
just need a new drive.

DVD player doesn't work. He puts in a DVD, it 
spins, the CD Icon comes up at the mouse and then 
does nothing. He said it use to do this every 
third time he would use it but now it doesn't do 
it at all. If someone could get out there to fix 
it, or just fix it, he would be very happy.
