The computer was installing Microsoft updates at
log in. I let Linda know that after a couple
logins it would be fully up-to-date and would not
have this delay any more.

Called in this morning saying that her computer 
is still very slow. She can log in, but it takes 
about 15-20 minutes.

she said that she has tried rebooting, she is 
able to put in her login and password but then it 
takes a long time to start up. 

the windows applying settings shows up.
