Ok, so here is another problem. I have two
Deleted xxx folders. One is Deleted Messages and
one is Deleted Items. If I "Delete permanently"
from the Deleted Messages folder, they all go
over to the "Deleted Items" folder. Now the
Deleted Messages folder is empty. If I highlight
all of the messages in "Deleted Items" and try
to "Delete permanently" they end up back in
the "Deleted Messages" folder. It is cyclical.
This is CRAZY. What is going on please?

Brian,

My supposedly "high priority" email problem,
according to the help desk, has not yet been
looked at but it has been assigned to a tech. How
can I impress upon someone the importance of this
task?????? I thought that a "Unix" person, whoever
that is, was working on this but apparently not? I
need this inbox NOW, not this afternoon or
tomorrow or the next day. I use my email
constantly and virtually ALL of MY outstanding
tasks are contained in that email. Help please.

Thank you.

The current issue that Service Request #30365
pertains to is:

I downloaded OpenOffice in an effort to deal with
a file that I received that was an .odt file (I
think that's it). After the download I found that
all of the messages in my Inbox had disappeared.
These would be all messages from 1-1-2009 to 2-5-
2009 which starts with a message from Sun
Microsystems re: the OpenOffice download. I have
just moved those messages to Inbox 7-1-08 - 6-30-
09 which is my current Archive of my Inbox.
Audrey called and wanted to know when someone
could retrieve a backup. It should be a back-up
from about 9:30 a.m. on 2/5/2009 because I had a
bunch of unread email messages in there when the
contents of the Inbox disappeared. Please call me
when you are about to do this so that I can
transfer any messages currently in the inbox to
my Inbox archive folder.

Thank you.

On the other half of the email she is re-stating
what the task is about. I filed it away in the
Winter 09 folder

there is another part to this email but the
service request system does not let me add it.

Paul was taking a look at this and said it is
because the overall characters of the memos
cannot exceed a certain amount. This is why it is
not letting me add the other part of the email.

HIGH PRIORITY please.

There are more issues here and I was waiting for
someone to deal with them. Most of these are
problems that came about after the Malware
restore:

Sent Items folder stopped in 2006 and after the
last restore (after my Malware problem) suddenly
Sent Items became active again. So it goes April
2005 - June 2006 and then 1/27/09 to the present.
Deleted Messages seems new running from 1/30/09
to the present
Deleted Items was active until 11/26/08 and
suddenly became active again yesterday, 2/5/09
Inbox is current items which I dump periodically
into Inbox 7-1-08 - 6-30-09 It's most recent
message is 12/31/08. That folder is fine. Don't
change/move it.
My Archived folders Inbox 7-1-06 - 6/30/07 and
Inbox 7-1-07 - 6-30-08 disappeared when my
machine was "re-done" after the Malware issue.
The Sent folder had items from 7-2006 to 1/27/09.
It was my "current" folder for sent messages.
Now it has started using the Sent Items folder.
It has messages from 4-2005 to 6-30-2006 and it
somehow became the active folder after the
Malware issue with sent emails from 1/27/09 to
the present.

When I placed this order I meant to say that this
is a VERY HIGH priority. Do we know the status of
this issue?

Downlaoded Open Office, Outlook and Sun, both
cases no email. The option to choose the inbox is
there but the inbox is empty. She placed a
service request for other email problems and she
was using mau ware and she has work on her
