Reghosted the offending machine (20070526) to the
facstaff 745 image.  Installed Microsoft Update
and installed all available updates.  Added John
Leadley (leadlej) as a local administrator, as he
sometimes needs to install applications. 
Installed and tested the attached USB Microtek
scanner.  Scanner, access to network drives and
the printer bu-greenspan all seem to work fine
now.  Closing the request.

When booting, the machine on the left takes a long
time to show the "press CTRL-ALT-DEL" prompt; I
eventually gave up waiting.  Wanted to try running
IE7 as local administrator.

Can't run IE7 on left machine while logged into
MASH.  Attempting to run IE will close your
Firefox session.

Room WH 101; two computers.  Machine on the right
(20070525) seems to work fine, accesses all
network drives and prints to \\radar\bu-greenspan.
 PC on the left (20070526) will only access H:
drive and will not print to \\radar\bu-greenspan.
 for both PCs, they have posted the following
instructions:
- Login
- Go to START
- Click RUN
- Under OPEN type \\radar\bu-greenspan OK
- Close window

investigating this task.

She is the west house building and one of the 
computers in room 101 cannot print or pull up 
files that people have that needed to be printed.
