Check to see what service is a dependency of
EventLog, EventSystem, DNSCache, lanmanserver,

I had her go to my computer-tools-map network 
drive. I had her choose the h:drive and type in 
\\cougar\mydocuments in the folder little box, 
but she gets an error message. 

she has a pc computer, the error message "the 
network path \\cougar\mydocuments could not be 
found.
