Completed.  Ran Windows Update, installing SP3 as
well as many more.  Un-bound, then bound to MASH
again.  Copied wResetSUSClientID batch file to all
users' startup folder.  Ran the new Sophos
installer from plowking.  Uninstalled Windows
Defender, as it was causing an error.  Ran Java
updates.  This machine is VERY, VERY SLOW, and my
goal was to enable the user to limp along until a
better machine is handed down as the result of a
new purchase higher up in the department.

Machine is old and slow (4300).  I have upgraded
to the latest version of Microsoft Update.  I now
have the machine searching for all of the latest
updates, and will install them when this has
finished.  This will probably take some time.  I
am working on this task amongst others this afternoon.

Its likely that I purged its machine account.  It
will need to be unbound, and rebound to the domain.

computer is an older machine, says the machine 
was turned off for several months. 

says maybe it might need some updates and 
maintenance to get it to work again.
