****This is an email****

There has been an issue with the firewall around
the server subnet that is largely responsible for
the problems you both describe.

Right now the problem has been temporarily
rectified by shutting down the component
responsible for all the intermittent network problems.

When he tried to access network data through
filemaker all the sudden the cursor turned to a
coffee cup then the comp froze and shut down
after a minute. When he reset the comp and trying
to re access the information there was an error
message displayed that told him the maximum
number of users has been exceeded. He restarted
his comp a few times and now can access this info
but he was alarmed by the event and noted that
the exact same thing happened to Kimber Townsend
and she documented it fridat 3-6-09
