Main was not closing w/o force quit. Mary suggested contacting a 
friend of hers who is highly knowledgeable in macs. We gave her a 
call, she directed my to some plists to delete that had been 
corrupted w/ the migration (conflicting versions)

Mary needs to have the mail client configured that
comes with OS X.

Migration Assistant completed successfully using
network.  Finished configuration, including user
login, user login set as local administrator,
copying of data from local user profile to
networked user profile and changing ownership of
copied files to end user.

Problems with Migration Tool -- reassigning to

I'll go to her office early Wednesday morning to
run Migration Tool.  When finished, reassign task
to Richard to complete setup.  Dr. Scarlato in
office Wednesday 4-6pm, available for Richard to
finish setup after 4:30pm.

Run the Migration Utility (google this).
After the migration, do the following (Taco articles):
Binding a Mac to MASH
HOW TO: Copy a Mac profile to another (she will
need to be there just to login).
Network Admins in Mac 10.5 (do if she's not there)

our Mac expert, and I will both be here Monday
(today) 1pm-4pm, and Tuesday 8am-11am and 1pm-4pm.

We need to finish up her setup with the following
items still needing to be done:
Ask her about the need for Filemaker pro 7
liceense to be transfered from old station, Help
set up mail client if she uses one, Setup local
printer Deskjet 6940dt, setup network printer she
would normally print to, and finish any network
configuration that was not completed
already(network user login)

Mary,

To answer question 1, not to my knowledge, its
possible there could have been a power blip that
made it restart.

To answer question 2, since its a mac, they would
either have to know your credentials, or have an
account on the machine. When is the last time you
changed your password?

To answer question 3, I do not know where you are
in the list for a replacement, Tricia Flaherty
would have to answer that.

she left her computer off and when she left for 
break and she came back today and it was on.

her question is:
was anyone in her office and on her computer from 
computing services while she was gone

second question is 
in her emails when she types in some names the 
the program has letter predicting thing that just 
shows up with lots of names everytime she types 
in a letter.
she wants to know if someone is using her 
computer with that too. 

the third question is  
she was informed that she is getting a new 
computer and nothing has happend yet. she was 
wondering the staus of the order.
