Got everything installed for him.  He left for
class while I was still installing it.  He told me
he would call if there was a problem and he hasn't
called. So I am taking it he is all good to go.

David,

I'm sorry that nobody has contacted you yet, we
have an enormous backlog of requests currently and
are diligently working through them.  I'm a bit
short-handed with student techs right now as we
had 2 leave at the end of the Winter term, and 2
more not returning to work for UCS as techs this term.

We get to things as fast as we can, and have to
prioritize based on the number of users affected
by common problems.

I see that your current workstation is still at
Service Pack 2, and we need to get that updated.

If you have a few minutes, please give me a call.

He called back and said he can't do anything.  He
is really frustrated.  He said hasn't had a call
or anything and would just be happy to have
someone walk him through it over the phone.  He
said it sounds like it's an option or setting that
just needs to be reset or changed.

Would like to change the regional and language 
options on his machine. It is for the linguistics 
class he teaches.

It allows him to do different keyboard settings 
for this class. Says he did it just fine at home 
he knows how to do it just for some reason it is 
giving him an error message. 

"The application failed to initialize properly."

Available times:
would like a call before someone heads over 

Says it would be nice if it is something that can 
be done remotely from our end.
