This fix worked. I just had to update him to 10.4.11

He has cancelled all his classes up to this point 
because his computer isnt working and all his 
notes and class stuff runs through his computer. 
he will try and slide by with out his computer 
today at 1pm but needs this fixed real quick.

Keller called back and asked about the status.  I 
told him that you had stopped by and were needing 
a disk.  He asked that I pass on that he is dead 
in the water and can't teach.

I stopped by and it looks like there is an error
with the Mac OS loading. I was going to repair it
but I can't find the disk.

He will leave his door open for Richard for the
