We were just following up with you on your 
service request (#31421) that was in regards to 
the terminal server and instructions.  I believe 
Brian Berkley from our office emailed 
instructions and we were checking to see if that 
worked for you.

Ashley,

Go to Start, Run and type: mstsc.exe

Click OK or hit enter.

Type ts.wou.edu  in the computer field.

Type MASH\jacksona in the username field.

Click the connect button.

When you get the Log On to Windows prompt that has
the Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition logo,
if there is a 2 line authentication dialog box,
click options.  Make sure that you use one of
these two possible combinations to login:

Username: MASH\jacksona
Password: your pass here
Log on to: TSXX where XX is a number like 1 or 13

or use:

Username: jacksona
Password: your pass here
Log on to: MASH

Its very important that you don't try to logon to
MASH using MASH\jacksona or logon to TSXX with
just jacksona

MASH defines the location your user account can be
found in, since MASH is a domain, and you have a
domain account, it is only valid for
authenticating to a domain.  You don't have a
local user account on the terminal servers, which
is why you cannot use jacksona to login to TSXX.

okay so after talking with Linda and letting her 
know of Ashley's request Linda syas they are not 
prepared to purchase Adobe Acrobat for Ashley at 
this time. I would like to see if a tech could go 
over and show Ashley how to open a document she 
is trying to save as PDF via the terminal server 
since she keeps reporting having problems doing 
things that way but I have tried it myself and 
not run into an isuue

no license is available in WCPI for installation 
of Acrobat Pro or Standard.  Linda Root is 
checking to see if it is something they really 
want to purchase for Ashley she will get back 
with us
