Chris,

You need to open the excel document, save as to a
new file name, then email the unix team
unix@wou.edu what the file name is that is
read-only, and where it is at so they can delete it.

Soon this problem will go away as we move all the
network drives to new systems with updated software.

She is able to get access to Excel but it is read 
only and it is keeping her from just making 
changes to the documents. 

everytime she changes her document at home and 
saves it. and when she gets here to school she is 
unable to keeping saving it to the same named 
document and is making her create a new saved 
file everytime and it is difficult for her to 
keep doing that. she would like to just be able 
to change it to one file.
