Emailed Hilda on 5/13/09:

Hi Hilda,

We were just following up on a task we had for
you (#31959) that was in regards to a password
needed to update software.

I believe Lance from our department emailed you
with some suggestions and we are hoping this
worked for you.

We'll close this task but it's not resolved or if
we can help with anything else, just let us know.

Thanks!

****This is an email****
Hi this is Lance from the University Computing
Services with Western Oregon. I'm Contacting you
about your question of updating software on your
Mac. Mac will prompt a user name and password when
updating. So to get that to work you can just put
in your user name and password in like you would
while logging into your computer. You should be an
administrator on that computer so it should let
you update. I also left a note on your machine
explaining the same thing. If you have troubles or
just have questions you can reply to this email or
call the service desk at extension 88925 and
update the task.

Thank you,
UCS
