There was a usb adapter inside the remote that
needed to be plugged into the computer. Works now.

ken has two remotes for his projector to do 
presentations. one came with and the other we 
gave to him. the one that came with it will turn 
on the machine but wont change slides. the new 
one we gave him does nothing. He can flips slides 
when using his computer, just not with the 
remote.

sitting in his office.
