Teresa said she had a chance to talk to Adam
about it last week and he said it's in bad shape
and needs to be replaced.

So SRD or ATTENDANTS...
IF YOUGET A CALL ABOUT THIS:
We are aware, we have had someone look at it,
and we are addressing it-- it needs to be
replaced.

I received yet another call about this printer
and the user was VERY angry. They said it has
been broken with no change for three weeks (it's
been two weeks?) and they are in summer school
and need it to be functioning very badly. I
don't see any memos from the person assigned to
work on this task, so I don't know if it is or
has been receiving attention, and I have nothing
to tell the angry callers because I have no
information here...

Josh, the lab attendant, came by and noted that
the printer is still in a sad state. It's jammed
with paper and the gears are grinding badly.

There was a duplicate of this task and I closed
32484. From duplicate task created on this
service request:

Memo: Caller said there is a part of the
printer
sitting on the table. I'm going to help someone
here at the lab with logging in and will head
over there.

Memo: when I got over there the front top cover
was
open. When I closed it the printer began making
grinding sounds coming from the back top of the
printer. The was a plastic printer part on the
table to the right of the printer. I couldn't
figure out how the piece fit, but I'm going on 2
hours sleep. I think it is probably an easy fix.

I pulled out the paper trays and I did not see
any paper jams. I forgot to get the wou number
off the printer but I think the tech would not
be able to fix this remotely.

Printer was jammed.

In removing back panels, found what appeared to be
wadded/folded up paper to support the back tray.

After getting all the paper out, I could not
attach part of the rear component.

When turning back on, got loud racheting sound.

The Power chord also appears to have a problem.
moving the chord slightly caused the power to go
off, turn back on.

Prior to the jam, users reported problems with the
paper smearing

Current state: turned off with one piece on back
panel not attached.
