I managed to get the CD out of the drive. The disk
is destroyed so it will not be possible to get any
data off of it.

Thank you for following up.  No, it was not 
resolved.  The person who came could not get the 
cd out of the computer.  He said I should call 
classroom services as they have the proper tools 
for removing it.  I then got busy and forgot 
about it.  I will leave a message for Maria 
Dantas-Whitney, who will be returning to her 
office, so she can follow up from this end.

service request that we have for you (#32509) 
that was in regards to a cd being stuck in a 
computer in Ed.  We were wondering if this was 
resolved or if we could be of assistance.  Just

says it has been an issue for a while and there 
seems to be a CD stuck in the drive. she needs to 
put another CD in but cannot because there might 
be one in there. The CD will not come out.
