****This is an email****
Hello,

This is Richard from UCS. I'm e-mailing you to
help you reconnect to your adviser's calender. I
am providing you with instructions for adding a
new shared calender to your Thunderbird program.

In Thunderbird, go to File, then New, and select
Calendar at the top menu bar. The Create New
Calendar window will pop-up. Select the On the
Network option and press the Next button at the
lower right. Select the last option listed, Sun
Java System Calendar Server (WCAP). Enter the
following:

    * Location:
http://sundown.wou.edu:82/?calid=loginname

Loginname should be the adviser's login name, ie
"marina". Click the Next button at the bottom
right. Enter a name for the calendar such as "My
Calendar" and select a color for events from that
calendar to be listed as if desired. It can be
helpful to set different calendars to different
colors when connecting to multiple calendars.

A Warning! pop-up will ask about an "Insecure
login..." be sure to check the "Don't ask again."
opinion before pressing the OK button. Enter your
login name and password credentials when prompted.
Check the option to save the password if desired.
Click the finished button. The calendar will
populate with the information. An error pop-up may
come up stating the calendar is read-only. This is
normal.

If you have any problems or questions or require
further assistance in this pleas feel free to
e-mail me or to call the service request desk back
at extension 88925.

Thank you for your time,
Richard Kavanagh
