Marita,
I have talked to Teressa and Trica about getting a
power strip for you. You would need to talk to the
Physical Plant and get a power strip form them.
There are OSHA guide lines for trip hazards that
we have to take into account. I am able to supply
a longer USB cord for the mouse and the keyboard.
If you have any questions you can call or email
the help desk.

YES, I really would like to have help and meet 
with a CS staff member.  Note: I have a MAC, if 
that matters.  Also, I am rarely at my 
desk...only about 5 hours a week.  So, it has 
been VERY difficult connecting with one of your 
staff members.  Would it be possible 
to "schedule" a specific time to meet?  For this 
week, Wed., 12/2 anytime between 3:30 and 5:00 
would be good for me.

Dear Teresa:

Thank you for following up via email.  I received 
your phone call, but didn't have time to respond 
yet.  Email is much easier.  Yes, I still need 
help.  I got a new, giant desk and now resetting 
up my computer has been a mess.  I need 1-2 very 
long extension cords/power strips (more than 6 
feet - I've tried that length and it is too 
short).  Then, I need longer cables that connect 
all the various pieces of the computer.  My 
husband set it up for me for the short term and 
all the cords are so short, I can't move anything 
around to where it is functional.  The CS 
technician may want to look at my computer 
desk/set up first to see what is needed...then 
come back and set it up for me.

My regular office hours are Mon and Wed from 
2:30 - 5:00.  I could also meet on Thurs from 
2:30 - 4:00.  This Mon or Wed would be best.

computer cables.

days of the week and times would work best for
