Hi Teresa- I'm sorry to only be getting to this
email today on the 9th, because this is incorrect!
I just spoke to Josh, and emphasized that the
email that is correct is the one with 1 "l" only!
(brownelp) and NOT the full spelling of my last
name (brownell). I have tried to correct this
double account every year for 3 years and somehow
just being "inactive" doesn't prevent problems.
I'm missing important emails from faculty and
conference coordinators. I want to emphasize, the
email that faculty and students have for me is
brownelp and I'm not sure that ones sent to the
brownellp address actually do migrate to me. You
have indicated here that you deactivated the wrong
address. I realize this is confusing, but am
frustrated at having to deal with this duplication
and missing emails every year. I hope to hear from
Josh today about this and am hoping he was clear
in what I was trying to say about this ongoing

Both addresses have been pointing to
brownelp@wou.edu (single-L) since Jan 30.  If she
is missing emails, I need more info to track them
down.  Since she probably does not want a phone
call at this hour, I emailed her and will call
tomorrow If I get no reply.

She is also saying that she is missing emails that
she know have been sent but they are not coing
through. She also thinks that the wrong account
has been deleted or deactivated.

Can't login to file/drives -> extra account deletion.

Our programmers have checked into this and we
believe everything is taken care of and you only
have the one email account that is active,
brownellp and the other is no longer valid and the
invalid one does forward to the valid email.  

If there is anything else that we can assist with,
just let us know, we'll be happy to help.

I checked with Christina about Penelope's status
in GOREMAL (Banner's email address table) and she
reported that both accounts were in the table and
neither were marked inactive, though the brownelp
address was marked as preferred.  Christina marked
brownellp as inactive.

Christina was told that Penelope wants to keep the
'brownelp' account, not brownellp as listed in
today's update.  

I left audix for Penelope to verify which account
she wants.  Also, I added a brownellp@wou.edu
alias that forwards to brownelp@wou.edu, so either
address will work to reach her.

Penelope called today and was working on a Banner 
related issue with Christina and said she feels 
that her issue has resurfaced again. She said WOU 
gave her two email addresses, brownellp and 
brownelp and she only needs the brownellp and 
students are emailing her and her emails are not 
going through.  Needs this looked at and resolved 
asap.

Her login is:  brownel
She said she did account lookup and can't login 
to the computer in her office.  She said somehow 
in years past she was assigned to login names and 
things this is part of the problem.   She said 
she asked Nathan Sauer to fix it last year 
(?!!!).
