It's actually Portia Perkins, not new staff.

She called at about 6:15, saying that she was 
unable to gain access to any of the drives or the 
internet.  She said that a fellow professor down 
the building was not having any of the same 
issues.  Her name is Portia Perkins, and she was 
very nice on the phone.
