He said he shut it down and turned it back on
yesterday and everything is working fine. im
running malwarebytes right now.

Computer shut down after trying to open a file. 
The computer said it shut down for “its own 
good”. He tried to restart and a “a problem has 
been detected and windows has been shut down to 
protect your computer”. This is his main computer 
and needs it to continue work.
