You need to open those documents in read-only
mode, save them to a new name.  Then email
daved@wou.edu the file system path on the I: drive
for the documents that are locked that need to be
deleted.

This can happen if documents are open and you lose
network connectivity to the I: drive.

She is in room 207 in todd hall.

Her computer has become nonresponsive and her 
deskstop has been wiped clean.

Her computer crashed while she was working on 
excel files. The machine rebooted and she tried 
to access the files whe was working on but an 
error said that the files had been locked for 
editing by UCS.
She installed updates moments before it crashed. 
After she restarted her machine it crashed a few 
minutes later.
