his web browser was automatically deleting
downloads out of the list as soon as they were
downloaded. So he was having to find them by using
spotlight to find the downloads folder and open
them. so i set it to not delete them until you
press the clear button. And i also helped him with
a couple other things on his computer as far as
showing him how to open new tabs in an internet
browser etc.

since rod has gotten his new computer he has not
been able to download attachments from emails. he
has been able to get around the problem by going
to the spot light search. he would search for
downloads and he was able to find the email.
