Debbie,

This is a problem in the terminal server
environment according to Microsoft.

Enhanced Security configuration is disabled for
Administrators and Users on all the terminal
servers, but for some reason, only in the terminal
services environment, this can get broken.

I have created new default profiles for each
server to fix this problem, but existing users who
already have a roaming profile will get the same
error in IE unless I purge profiles.

The only functional method to address this without
purging profiles is to do the following
(non-privileged users can perform this, it has
been tested):

Open IE.
Go to Tools, Internet Options.
Click on the Advanced tab.
At the bottom, click Reset under the Reset
Internet Explorer settings.

Close IE.

They only need to do this once, and it only seems
to happen on TS1, TS11, TS12, and TS13.

I switched the profile path now so all users using
the terminal servers get a new profile with the
corrected IE settings, and WOU home page in IE and
Firefox.

and Firefox wants to update and they can't do it
w/out admin rights. The computer is a thin
client. I had another student come in today and
used the thin client at the window and had the
same problem.
