That was me working on servers that they would not
log out of after repeated warnings that the
systems would be going down for maintenance.

Kathleen,

I was working on some of the terminal servers
yesterday, and sent repeated messages to people on
the 3 servers (we have 10) that I was working on
to log out, or they would be logged out.

If users cannot save their work and log out when
asked to despite numerous messages over a 15
minute span, then I log them off.

Ordinarily itÂ’s not much of a problem, and people
comply.

Hi,
The two thin clients that have logged students off
are 20051157[Edit Inv] and 20051151[Edit Inv].

The first student was doing something on the
internet, and got a pop-up message saying that the
computer was logging off, and if the student did
not log off, it would log them off automatically.
(I assume that the message said something about
saving their work!) This was about 1:20.

Then, at about 1:35, a second student was
composing a word document when her computer logged
off. She is an international student, and I did
not understand whether she saw the same message
also, or if it spontaneously logged her off.

No similar occurrences yet.

Thanks, and please let me know if there will be a
request number assigned.

~kathleen
