I took the laptop apart and looked inside of it. 
Nothing appeared to be cooked.  The laptop is
running fine now that it is back together.  It was
delivered back to the library.

says someone had brought it back and noticed an
awful smell on the computer, says thought nothing
of it until today gave it to someone to check out
and they returned saying it will not turn on. says
it will not turn on using the power cord or just
turning it on pushing the button. 

Ryan the library attendant called about this.
