Dis-regard the last memo. I noticed that this was
happening on a couple machines, and after i logged
in, and it loaded my profile, it stopped
flickering, even after i had logged out...so its
fixed for now. But if this comes up in the future,
logging in as an admin seems to be a solution.

He noticed it over the weekend while prepping for
a lab that starts tomorrow morning. Anytime today
is fine. In a previous and similar issue, the
graphics card simply needed to be re-seated, so
says Prof. Dutton.
