It was a web page that looked like it was 
scanning her computer. It was trying to get the 
user to install a fake antivirus by "clicking 
here". Nothing was installed. Ran Malware bytes 
which did not find anything.

she went and downloaded a manual online for her 
new phone that she just got. and now it shows up 
with something that says her computer has 
viruses. and it will not go away. 
she is wondering if she can close out of the web 
page and it will go away, but she is not sure
