drive seems to be bad, tried running chkdsk on it
overnight, it only advanced 23 sectors.  Then it
prompted me to format it.

Trying to run scandisk for errors on drive, has
been running for 2x hours and is very slow.

She has an external hard drive and she can't pull 
off to her hard drive and also freezes.  She has 
one file she needs pulled off from it - 
International Night (mpeg file, not the audio 
file, just needs the video file)
