Hey this is Jordan with the UCS. I'm emailing you
in regards to your service request for not being
able to view PDF's in your firefox. I don't know
if Gabe's suggestion fixed your problem, but I
have a couple more solutions that may solve your
issue. If you click HERE and download and install
the updated reader for your computer. If this
doesn't fix your problem then in firefox, go to
'Tools' at the top and press 'Add-ons'. Then when
that pops up make sure you are on the 'Plugins'
tab and press the button that says 'Find Updates'.
This should update the plugin for Adobe Reader. If
this still does not resolve your problem, go to
'Tools' again press 'Clear Recent History' and
clear/delete all of the things in there by
checking all of the boxes. If you still are unable
to view PDF's please email me back and I can come
and take a look at your problem! Thank you for
your patience and I hope that this solves your
problem!

I updated, but that didn't do the trick. My Mac is
an older version (purchased in 2003) and doesn't
seem to support newer versions of Adobe reader.
I'm not sure where I am on the list for
replacement, but would like to see about pushing
that forward.
thanks

I had her look in the list of applications under
firefox settings. Portable Document Format was
not listed. I didn't know how to add it to the list.
