I replaced the power supply because one of the
bearings in the fan was going out. The computer
was getting really hot still also due to the fan
not working properly. Should be good to go now.

its still making noises she said it is kind of
like a rattling. and it sounds like it is gasping
for a breath.

I went over and blew a lot of dust out of the
power supply (its a 280...) the fan is still
working fine, and there are no bearings out in it,
so hopefully this will take care of the problem. I
told her i would leave the task open for a week
and under my name, so that if it keeps happening
she can call and let us know.

tiffany's computer keeps shutting down on its own.
she has to keep restarting it. the computer will
do this in general. does not matter if she is
searching the internet or working in word. she has
restarted the computer.
