Bob is ok with the workarounds for the time being
since we are planning on moving the user home
directories to the netapp.

Bob,

When you want to put a file onto the public_html
volume, save it there rather than copying it.

It seems there is an issue with ZFS and SMB on
Snow Leopard from just a limited search.

The MyDocuments and Public_html shares are on ZFS
file systems shared via Samba on Solaris systems.

Here is a link I found:

Bob called to say he's having problems putting
files into his P drive. He said it seems to
reset and then not work. He said he had help
with this in the past and then it works and then
it stops working again. I tried to find a
completed task on this but didn't see one. Might
be a problem for Brian B, maybe?
