I re-seated the USB connection and ran the scanner
software.  I set it to "professional" and it
worked fine.  Scanning worked in Word 2007, but
Word's interface is too clunky.

Scanner 20050258[Edit Inv] is not communicating with
computer 20090206[Edit Inv] here in the APSC lab. When
someone tries to open the scanning software it
comes up with an error saying that the program
cannot start and there needs to be a trouble shoot.
