Hello,

This is Richard from University Computing Services. I'm e-
mailing you about a service request you called in because your 
computer was restarting when you opened certain documents. 
This was likely a side effect of moving your network drives to a 
new server. Your Computer had not been updated as to the 
change and that caused the problem. Our Windows 
administrator has implemented a fix for this problem across 
campus. The next time you logon to your computer it should 
point your computer to the new server location. 

If you continue to have any issues like this or if anything else 
comes up please feel free to call us at extension 88925.

Called and left a VM saying it should be fixed and to call us if it 
wasn't.

It should be fixed now that she has logged out and
the registry fix has been applied to her profile.
 Call in the morning on Friday to verify.

Lyn would like to have someone come and take a
look at her computer. every time she would start
to type a document her computer shuts down and she
has to do a file recovery. she says that she is
not the only one that is having issues.
