You should be able to resolve the problem by
logging out of your system and logging back in,
that will trigger a log-off script that changes
profile paths in the registry where IE looks for
favorites, pictures, documents, etc.

If they still don't show up afterward, open My
Computer, go to C:\Documents and
Settings\%username%\Favorites and copy all of that
to H:\woufavs (note: %username% is a wild card,
you should browse to the directory that has YOUR
username.)

Your system likely had a hard-coded path to
\\cougar\mydocuments in the registry and since
that server is no longer in use for user home
directories, and it cannot "see" the new storage,
the redirection policy that worked for the last
year doesn't work.

The log-off script fixes this problem.

She has lost all her favorites and can't get to
her H drive. I asked her to log out and she did
so, called back and said it didn't help.
