I went up there to print a config sheet and do an nslookup. The
printer is fungus.wou.edu. I didn't see it on bart so I made a port
for it on his computer and he's connected now.

Richard,

Thanks for the help. I was able to follow the instructions the
only problem I ran into was trying to find which printer I should
connect to. I'm in the same office as Danny Barnts and will be
using his printer, he had mentioned the name was mucas? I
could be wrong, but is there a way to tell?

Thanks!

Hello,

This is Richard from University Computing Services. I'm e-
mailing you to sent you instructions that will allow you to
connect to most network printers on campus.

- Click on Start
- Click on Run
- Type in \\bart
- Click OK
- Find the printer you want to connect to in the list that appears
(The printers often have a building code in front of them, such as
AD for a printer in the administrative building)
- Right-click on the desired printer
-Click Connect in the menu that pops up

If you have any problems with this or if anything else comes up
please feel free to call the service request desk at extension
