I disabled a couple add-ons in IE that have been
causing the same problem for a few other people on
campus. It works now.

Carol is having problems with IE not wanting to 
open more than one window or tab. When she tries 
to open a new tab the tab say "connecting" then 
freezes the whole computer and she has to restart 
her computer.   Computer 20090510[Edit Inv]
This started on Thursday the 16th.
