Yes, please - and it is the computer that is
directly in front of the door when you walk into
ED 202 - my computer in my office is OK.

It is not a great hurry.

Thanks,
Karen

This message is for Gabe:
The R2V software is still having validation
issues. I received a new license key but it still
doesn't seem to be working. If he can come by and
try it out again that would be wonderful.
Thanks,
Pat

This is a note for Gabe,
We have not received the license key for the R2V
software yet. Could he please come back to our
office (NS021) and re-attempt the sending of the
validation key.
Thank you,
Pat

Patrick,

the installer was electronic download so no
physical media.

Download the installation file (same as the trial
version) from:

      http://www.ablesw.com/r2v/r2vsetup.exe

I know one of the techs mentioned running into a
profile problem with the installation. It was
only showing up validated under one profile.
They were suppose to work through that with you
and R2V.
The instructions clearly stated that they needed
to be logged in as the user who will run the
program, so they really should have waited until
you were available. The service request(#39413)
is still open so I am going to ask that they
contact you as soon as possible to get this all
sorted out and installed properly.

Brian,
This task is under Gabe and still open. All the
instructions for install and validating are in
the text file
at T:\R2V_AdvRastertoVector. It includes the
Invoice # and contact info that is on the order
that is necessary to request the user.key file in
the validation process. Also at the bottom is
email and phone # for support as it appears it
may not have been validated under the correct
profile the first time.

Hi Tricia,
I'm not sure if you are the one I should be
talking to about this issue. If you are not
please let me know who I should contact.
Anyways, we purchased two copies of the Able
software R2V. This software was installed on our
machines a few weeks ago when I was not here. I
went to use it yesterday and found out that the
software had not been validated. So following the
instructions in the readme.txt file which states:

"Installation:

Run “r2vsetup.exe” and follow the on screen
instructions to install.

If you are evaluating the demo version, you can
ignore the license validation message box and
continue to use R2V. Without a validated license,
R2V will run in demo mode and the file exporting
functions will be limited to the demo images or
images smaller than 256 by 256 in pixels.

If you have purchased a R2V license, the first
time you run R2V, a License Validation dialog box
will appear. Please use the “Validate License”
button to email the “user.key” file (located in
the "Documents\R2V" folder)
to "license@ablesw.com" to receive
a “license.key” file. Save the “license.key” file
to your "Documents\R2V" folder to complete the
license validation process."

So I emailed the license.key file to the email
given, and I received the following response:
Hi,

We could not verify your purchase information to
validate your
license.

Please send us your detailed contact info,
invoice number and purchase
date to verify.

If you would like to make a purchase, you can do
so from our website
at http://www.ablesw.com.

You can continue to use the trial version by
skipping the validation process.

Thank you for contacting Able Software.

Could you (or have someone) send me the
information that they require to validate the
software? Also, could I get the hard copies of
the software, they were not left here after the
installation was done.
Thanks,
Pat
