Brian,

All fixed! Thanks for your help and for teaching
me how to fix it myself, rather than just doing it
for me.

Shirley,

If you go to Start, Settings, Control Panel,
Network connections, double click on Local Area
Connection. Click properties.

Highlight Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
and click Properties.

Under the Use the following DNS server addresses:

Change the DNS server addresses to:

140.211.127.88
140.211.127.9

Or, download this:
http://www.wou.edu/~bberkley/stuff/pc.zip

Extract it, and run TeamViewerQSWindows.exe and
call me with the 9 digit ID and I will fix that
for you.

Thanks,

Brian,

When I run ipconfig /all, these are all that I
show under
DNS Servers:
140.211.117.7
207.98.65.2

Running ipconfig /flushdns did not seem to have
any effect.

I still get a server not found error when I
attempt to access http://digitalcommons.wou.edu

Any additional troubleshooting help would be
appreciated.

Thanks,

Shirley

Shirley,

Go to Start, Run and type: cmd

Click OK or hit enter.

A black DOS box / cmd prompt window will open.

Type: ipconfig /all

Hit enter.

Look for these lines:
DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 140.211.127.88
                                    140.211.127.27
                                    140.211.127.9
                                    140.211.127.165

You should have 140.211.127.88 and 140.211.127.9
as the primary DNS server addresses.

If you do, type:

ipconfig /flushdns

Hit enter.

Try getting to http://digitalcommons.wou.edu

Everyone in the Library can access the new server
but she. She is getting a "server not found"
message when trying.
The url: digitalcommons.wou.edu

So when she goes to this url she is getting this
error message but everyone else can get on on.
She thinks maybe it's a proxy problem.

Her static ip address is: 140.211.112.110

That is to her computer.
