Had static DNS config in his TCP/IP stack.

I think you have some static configuration in your
TCP/IP stack.

If you go to start, run and type:

ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt

Hit enter.

Then go to start, run and type: c:\ipconfig.txt

Hit enter.

Copy/paste and email that to me.

Is not able to access the internet on his
computer. He is not able to access the TRI network
drive from his computer in Todd hall rm 225. His
other office is in the education building and he
can access the TRI network drive from there. He
feels that it might be the machine and would like
someone to come take a look. He just want it to
work. There are no other drives besides his home
drive showing up in my computer.
